Armani (aka Moo) is the heart and soul of Batorok, our beloved matriarch and the dog who started it all. With her calm, steady nature and unshakable temperament, she has been the foundation of our breeding programme, and we couldn't be more grateful for everything she has given us. Quite simply, without Armani, there would be no Batorok.

Armani came into our lives in 2016 during a truly transformative time for Kirstie. She was gifted to us by our good friends, Sian and John Hine of Gamecall Hungarian Vizslas. Their faith in us and their willingness to entrust us with such a special young girl, changed the course of our lives and laid the foundation for everything Batorok has become.

We have always believed that responsible breeding is built on collaboration rather than competition. Armani is a constant reminder of that. She represents the trust, friendship and mentorship that exist between dedicated breeders who share the same goal: preserving and improving the Hungarian Vizsla for generations to come. Sian's mentorship has been invaluable throughout our journey, and we are incredibly proud to be part of Team Gamecall.

When Armani first joined our family, Kirstie was recovering from two major surgeries and was unable to campaign her in the show ring. Jamie Lloyd of Copperkee Labrador Retrievers generously stepped in to handle Armani, and together they formed a remarkable partnership. The bond between Jamie and Armani was something truly special, and together they achieved the majority of Armani's major wins. We will always be grateful for Jamie's friendship, support and the wonderful way she presented Armani during those early years.

From the moment she entered the show ring, Armani proved herself to be everything we had hoped for. Her effortless movement, sound construction and unwavering confidence saw her enjoy an outstanding show career, earning her Australian Champion title at just ten months of age before going on to achieve both her Australian Grand Champion and Australian Neuter Champion titles. Along the way she collected numerous Class in Group awards and memorable wins, including Runner Up Best of Breed at the Brisbane Royal Show.

Armani has since whelped three litters, each contributing to her legacy in different ways. Her first daughter now works as a therapy dog, offering emotional support to those in need. Her singleton daughters from her following two litters, Celeste and Dusk, have each left their mark on Batorok, and Armani's legacy continues through the generations that followed. Today, every Batorok-bred dog carries a little of Armani with them, and seeing her qualities continue through each new generation is one of the greatest rewards of our breeding journey.

Now happily retired, Armani spends her days exactly as she prefers - sharing the couch, enjoying a swim whenever the opportunity arises, sun baking and making sure her daughter Celeste still knows who rules the household. She may no longer be raising puppies or competing in the ring, but she remains the heart and soul of Batorok, and always will.
