Esker is the much-loved son of Celeste from her first litter, making him the first male we’ve kept under the Batorok prefix—and what a mark he has made. Born on the day of the King’s coronation alongside his sister Eden, Esker seemed destined for something special right from the start.
True to that promise, Esker burst onto the show scene with remarkable success, winning his first Best in Group just days after his first birthday. From there, his achievements kept coming: multiple Best in Group and Runner-Up to Best in Group awards, and finally, capping it all off by becoming an Australian Supreme Champion with a stylish Runner-Up Best in Show win to seal the title.
Structurally, Esker embodies so many of the qualities we value in the breed. He combines a well-developed forechest and beautiful shoulder set—features sometimes hard to find in modern Vizslas—with a powerful yet far-reaching gait inherited from both his mother and grandfather. His excellent tail carriage and classic outline make him an eye-catcher in the ring, while at home he’s equally known for his sweet nature and enthusiasm.
Outside the show ring, Esker’s natural hunting instincts shine through with a beautiful, steady point—whether it’s birds out in the paddock, or (much to our amusement) the bags flying past at SprintDog!
Already a proven producer with a litter of eight puppies on the ground, Esker is available at stud to select bitches who complement his structure, movement, and wonderful temperament. We’re excited to see what the future holds for him, and the legacy he leaves through his children.
