Celeste is the first Hungarian Vizsla we have kept from our own Batorok prefix. She is now four years old. Celeste was the only puppy in her litter, commonly called a singleton among breeders, and she was absolutely doted on… by her parents, by the other dogs and especially by Kirstie. It was the height of COVID-19 when she was born and she was the centre of our universe. She still is!
Her show career was off to a slow start as there were so many lockdowns in that first 12 months after her birth, but she gave us so many ‘firsts’ for the Batorok prefix.
Celeste gained her first Best in Group award in fine style, being award the win and also Puppy in Show at only 11 months of age. Celeste has been awarded the highest showing honour of Best Exhibit in Show three times in her career, as well as another Runner Up Best in Show. She is light footed and has an amazing far-reaching gait and wonderful tail carriage which she has passed on to her son Esker. She is quirky and loving, and very attentive to ANYONE with food!
